life sciences building. Expertise in facility planning,
building and organization experience; strong familiarity
with cleanroom technology and infrastructural needs; highly

document existing instruments and infrastructure
requirements in fabrication and characterization core
facilities; thin film deposition, electrical
characterization, photonics, biophotonics, and polymer

adjacencies and space requirements for core and faculty
laboratories. Serve as a central point of contact between

from purchase to installation. Minimum educational and
work-related experience requirements are: Bachelor's or
Master's degree (preferred) in an Engineering or Science

facility management and construction experience to be
responsible for the maintenance of our beautiful 15,000 sq. ft.
building. He/she must be comfortable overseeing the work of
subcontractors in the building trades, performing basic
repairs, handling routine maintenance and cleaning, and
responding to emergencies and security issues. As part of a
small and integrated staff team, this person also sets up for
programs and events, including operating audio and/or video
systems used by musicians and dancers. The working
schedule requires some flexibility in hours during the week

emergencies. The successful candidate will be highly
knowledgeable about building systems and have very high
standards for quality of construction, maintenance, and
