Princeton University Princeton University seeks a Program Manager for Off-Campus
Development. As Princeton continues to expand, identifying best uses
for existing land assets and, in some cases, executing agreements for
opportunities outside of the traditional campus boundaries has become
increasingly important. The Program Manager for Off-Campus
Development, who will report directly to the Vice President, Facilities, will
play a key role in researching local space options for rental and
purchase, working with various internal clients to complete needs
analyses, and serving as Princeton's spokesperson and negotiator
through contracts and settlement.
The successful Program Manager for Off-Campus Development candidate
will bring many of the following professional qualifications and personal
qualities:
* Demonstrated and substantial experience with acquisitions site
planning, permitting and other pre-construction services for large-scale
commercial, industrial, and mixed use projects;
* Experience working with real estate and development professionals
(e.g., developers, engineers, architects, brokers, etc.);
* Knowledge of and experience with transactions involving
institutional clients, especially non-profits;
* Skill managing a variety of projects with diverse transactional
structures, analyzing complex leases, and managing community input;
* Ability to gather and synthesize multiple inputs and complex data to
draw accurate and meaningful conclusions about real estate
opportunities and their implications;
* Effective oral, written, and presentation skills for diverse
audiences, including senior University leaders;
* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including the
ability to establish and maintain credibility with senior University leaders;
* Computer literacy and technological competency;
* Experience in and knowledge of the New Jersey real estate
environment, especially the Mercer County area, is desirable;
* A minimum of ten years related experience; and,
* Bachelor's degree is required; Master's or MBA degree is preferred.
Salary Range: $100K plus excellent benefits and relocation expenses
Term Appointment: 5 years
