functions and activities. The AVC in collaboration with various
internal and external departments ensures that the University
plans, designs and builds capital projects that are functional,
sustainable, well designed, and cost effective. The AVC
contributes to the formulation of policies and procedures and
the allocation of resources. The AVC interprets policy,
regulations and laws on behalf of the Administration.

Description: Responsible for managing all aspects of a major
capital project, or multiple large capital projects, of high
complexity from inception through occupancy.
Requirements: Degree plus Licensed Professional Engineer
or Registered Architect designation, B.S. Degree in
Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or Architecture, or
equivalent progressive experience in the design/management
of major capital projects, and a minimum of fifteen (15) years
progressive experience in the design/management of large,
highly complex Healthcare or similar renovation/construction
projects.
