University of Edinburgh Designs Centre for Systems Biology

EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND, UK -

The University of Edinburgh is planning to begin construction on the £7 million Centre for Systems Biology in January of 2008. The Centre will be located in the C.H. Waddington Building, a three-story, multi-disciplinary facility that will accommodate laboratories and office space for research in biological sciences, informatics, and disease research. The facility will also house the Centre for Translational and Chemical Biology. Funding for the project was provided by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council.
