Central Washington Hospital Expands Wenatchee Facility

WENATCHEE, WASH. -
Central Washington Hospital will begin construction in spring of 2009 on a $150 million expansion of its Wenatchee hospital. Designed by HDR Architects of Omaha, the 190,000-sf addition will include a trauma facility, 174 private patient rooms, and an obstetrics unit. Comprised of four stories above grade and one below, the expansion will feature 310-sf “acuity flexible” inpatient rooms to reduce patient transfers if acute care is needed.
