Cape Fear Valley Health System Constructs Health Pavilion North

Cape Fear Valley Health System is constructing Health Pavilion North, a new outpatient center in Fayetteville , N.C. Providing outpatient diagnostic and treatment services, the facility is being developed by Cogdell Spencer Advisors in partnership with Cape Fear Valley Heath System. Ground was broken on October 13, 2004 on the two-story, 64,000-sf Health Pavilion which will provide urgent care facilities, primary care physician offices, an on-site lab, pharmacy, sleep lab, and physical and occupational therapy.

 

The $14.6-million project will enhance patient convenience and comfort with covered patient drop-off areas at the building’s main entrance and at the urgent care and cancer center entrances. The facility’s interior features two oversized elevator cabs to accommodate access for stretchers, wheelchairs, and medical equipment. Cogdell Spencer Advisors will oversee the project’s development and provide on-site management for Health Pavilion North after it opens in spring of 2006. Peterson Associates is the project architect and M.B. Kahn is the general contractor.
