The University of California, Riverside is constructing a vibrant new home for the School of Business. Created by the design-build team of Moore Ruble Yudell Architects & Planners and McCarthy Building Companies, the $87 million facility will centralize academic activities currently dispersed across campus while accommodating significant programmatic growth. Offering 38,500 asf, the 63,400-gsf structure will provide interactive learning environments where the next generation of corporate leaders and entrepreneurs will gain vital skills and competencies. The four-story building will house two 80-seat classrooms, 20 faculty offices, 59 administrative offices, group meeting rooms, an executive conference suite, a computer lab, a 350-seat auditorium, and a recording studio for the creation of podcasts and videos. Sophisticated technologies for the capture and transmission of multimedia lectures will support the delivery of hybrid pedagogies that blend in-person and remote instruction.

Anchoring a new campus precinct, the sustainable development will incorporate a 15,000-sf solar canopy and numerous outdoor seating areas. Coffman Engineers is providing structural engineering services with AEI as MEP engineer. Groundbreaking was celebrated in April of 2023 and occupancy is anticipated in fall of 2024.
