University of Kansas Builds Dole Institue

LAWRENCE, KANS. -

The University of Kansas is constructing the Dole Institute & Archive facility. Designed by ASAI Architecture of Lenexa, Kansas, the building will house offices, meeting spaces, and exhibits for the Dole Institute for Public Service & Policy, an institution focusing on current policies and public service. The two-story facility will also house Senator Bob Dole's archives, over 3,500 boxes of material, for study and use by University students and the public. Built by McPherson Contractors, the Dole Institute is slated for completion in March 2003. Project budget is $8,200,000, with a construction contract of $6,315,000.
