The $600 million McLaren Health Care Village is under construction in Clarkston, Mich. Created in collaboration with the Clarkston Medical Group, the 79-acre project will include a 135,000-sf medical office facility, a 30,000-sf cancer center, and a 15,000-sf ambulatory surgical facility in the first phase; completion is slated for year-end 2008. Phases two and three, to be completed over the next seven years, may include an inpatient hospital, three life science buildings, a cardiac center, and medical offices. LEED certification will be sought for the project.
