Banner Ironwood Medical Constructs Pinal County Hospital

PINAL COUNTY, ARIZ. -
Construction will officially begin on Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Pinal County, Ariz., on June 5, 2008. The 220,000-sf hospital will be located on 80 acres near the town of Queen Creek and is slated for completion in fall of 2009. The first $128 million, 24-bed phase will include four inpatient/outpatient operating suites, an emergency room with 19 private treatment areas, imaging, family practice, internal medicine, general surgery, and orthopedics. Subsequent phases will create a total of 86 beds with a build-out capacity of up to 500 beds.
