FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. - The University of Arkansas dedicated the $30 million J. B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. Center for Academic Excellence in Fayetteville, Ark. in September of 2007. The five story, 110,000-sf facility will accommodate the College of Engineering, the Sam M. Walton College of Business, and the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. Featuring leading edge technology and efficient, flexible laboratories, the center includes wired and wireless high performance network access. Access to electrical and HVAC systems are available via a raised floor system for optimum adaptability to the needs of future technology. The facility was designed by Perry Dean Rogers Partners of Boston and Wittenberg Delony and Davidson of Little Rock to last 100 years.
