Ameris Health Breaks Ground on Summit Hospital in Phenix City

PHENIX CITY, ALA. -

Nashville-based Ameris Health System has broken ground on the first phase of the 112,000-sf Summit Hospital in Phenix City, Ala. Brasfield & Gorrie of Birmingham, Ala. is the project contractor. The $19 million, four-story acute care hospital will provide full medical and surgery services. Completion is slated for spring 2006.
