West Virginia United Health System Builds Bridgeport Hospital

BRIDGEPORT, VA. -

United Hospital Center (a subsidiary of West Virginia United Health System) broke ground in July of 2006 on a $285-million hospital facility in Bridgeport, Va. The 681,440-sf, seven-story facility will house 289 beds in private rooms. Completion is expected in fall of 2009. The project team includes architect Gresham, Smith and Partners of Nashville, Tenn.; civil engineer Hornor Brothers Engineers of Clarksburg, W. Va.; and construction manager Centex Construction, also of Nashville.
