Ground was broken on the project in April of 2007 with completion expected by January of 2009.

The second phase of the project, the renovation of the existing Haberlin Hall science facility, is slated for completion by January of 2010. Featuring an atrium designed to offer easy access to labs, offices, and classrooms, the completed project will provide meeting, lounge, study, and dining spaces.
