ZAVENTEM, BELGIUM - Toyota Motor Europe is initiating an €80 million expansion of its European Technical Centre in Zaventem, Belgium. Slated to begin in 2009, the project includes construction of a test track, expanded testing and product development space, and a 12,000-sm workshop. 80 percent of demolition materials will be recycled for reuse on-site. The project may also include geothermal and photovoltaic energy technologies.
