Cascade Health Services Builds & Renovates Two Campuses

BEND, ORE. -

Cascade Health Services has awarded a $65 million contract to Skanska USA Building Inc. for expansion and renovation of Cascade's hospital facilities at the St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, and at the Central Oregon Community Hospital in Redmond, Ore. The assignment includes a total of 290,000 sf, of which 200,000 sf involves new construction. The new buildings will house such facilities as a cancer treatment center, a rehabilitation center, a childcare center, and a birthing center.

Skanska USA Building, based in Parsippany, N.J., is the U.S.-based construction services arm of Sweden-based Skanska AB.
