Work is progressing on schedule on a complex $25.5-million vertical expansion and seismic upgrade at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur, Miss. Designed by St. Louis-based Christner, the 2-story post-partum area expansion includes construction of 66 private patient rooms, nursery and support space on top of an existing 5-story structure. Construction is slated for completion in January 2004. The project contractor is McCarthy.
