William Beaumont Hospital Plans Troy West Hospital

William Beaumont Hospital's 240,000-sf West Hospital on the Troy, Mich., campus is being designed by HarleyEllis. The $53 million design-build project consists of a five-story structure housing maternal child health, expanded endoscopy and surgical services, inpatient care and support services. Attached to the main hospital, the exterior design and architectural details will match the existing hospital. Backstage areas for employees, services and equipment are accommodated in an open, flexible layout fostering communication between care providers, patients' families and physicians. The West Hospital is scheduled for completion in Spring of 2003.
