Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield , based in Indianapolis, will consolidate most of their local operations with a planned 240,000-sf building in Louisville, Ky. Sited in the 700-acre Triton Office Park in the Eastpoint Business Center, the four-story building will house 1,200 Anthem employees, functioning as the insurer’s new local headquarters. Construction is slated to begin in June 2004 and reach completion in August 2005. The project team of the $24- to $30-million facility includes architect Tucker & Booker Inc. and project manager BMC Contractors. Fenley Real Estate of Louisville is the owner and developer of Triton Office Park.
