INOVA Health Systems has selected the Washington, D.C. office of Turner Construction Company to construct the new INOVA Heart Institute in Falls Church. The $60-million project is scheduled for completion in January 2004. The architect is Wilmot/Sanz of Gaithersburg, Md. The five-story structure will house the Heart Institute's administrative offices, as well as 156 cardiac critical care and surgical beds, eight cardiac catheterization laboratories and eight cardiovascular surgical suites. The project will also contain a 180-vehicle parking garage.
