University of Pittsburgh Medical Builds Regional Cancer Center

NEW CASTLE, PENN. -

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is joining with Jameson Health System in a 50-50 venture to create a $5-million regional cancer center in New Castle, Penn. The project will include the renovation of 6,500 sf in Jameson Health System’s Medical Arts Building and the construction of 1,000 sf of new clinical space. Operating as part of the UPMC Cancer Centers network, the facility will open in February 2005.
