Ellis Hospital Plans ICU

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -

Ellis Hospital in Schenectady  is planning to break ground on a $20-million intensive care unit in October 2004. Replacing the current 20-bed facility that was built in 1973, the new unit will be relocated next to the hospital’s other critical care services. Construction on the 36-bed unit is expected to last about 18 months.
