University of South Carolina Builds College of Business and Economics




SPARTANBURG, S.C. -
The University of South Carolina Upstate broke ground on the $30 million George Dean Johnson, Jr. College of Business and Economics in Spartanburg in November of 2008. Designed by David M. Schwarz Architects with McMillan Smith & Partners as production architect, three-story, 60,000-sf facility is expected to reach completion in May of 2010. The building houses classrooms, computer labs, offices, and incubator space. The project construction manager is Linbeck.
