Siteman Cancer Center Builds Proton Radiation Facility

ST. LOUIS -
Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University are building the Kling Center for Proton Therapy at the Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis. Featuring a $20 million miniature proton radiation system built on-site by Still River Systems, the facility will open in October of 2009. The Kling Center will be able to treat 200 patients annually.
