Merck Serono Expands Billerica Research Facility

BILLERICA, MA. -
Merck Serono and U.S. affiliate EMD Serono will initiate construction in early 2009 on a $50 million expansion of research operations in Billerica, Ma.  Slated for completion in 2010, the project includes construction of a 210,000-sf discovery center supporting research, development, and production. The facility will include over 160,000-sf of laboratory space.
