Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Plans Longwood Facility

BOSTON -

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is planning to construct a $300-million facility in the Longwood Medical and Academic Area in Boston. The 400,000-sf complex will house research labs and clinical outpatient treatment suites with ground floor retail. Designed by Portland, Ore.-base Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Partnership, the facility will increase Dana-Farber's footprint by one-third. Completion is expected by 2011.
