Texas Tech University is developing two new facilities, the Clinical Tower & Research Center (CT&RC) and the International Pain Institute (IPI) at the Health Sciences Center Campus in Lubbock , Texas . The new CT&RC will consolidate much of the clinical care currently in two other buildings into one patient-friendly building. Valued at $33,000,000, the CT&RC is composed of 142,000-sf of new construction and 23,000-sf of renovated space. Adjacent to the facility will be the freestanding International Pain Management Clinic comprised of 12,500-sf and valued at an additional $3,500,000.

The design team for both projects is lead by FKP Architects of Houston. Lee Lewis Construction is the project construction manager. Other design team members include Haynes Whaley Associates, structural engineering; Smith Seckman Reid, mechanical engineering; Fanning Fanning & Associates, electrical engineering; Jaster Quintanilla, LLP, civil engineering; and Clark Condon Associates, landscape architects. The Equipment Collaborative is providing equipment planning and move management services.
