Monroe Clinic Plans Expansion and Renovation

MONROE, WIS. -
Monroe Clinic will break ground in fall of 2008 on an $85 million addition to its hospital campus in Monroe, Wis. Designed by Kahler Slater of Madison, the $55 million facility will house inpatient and outpatient care, an emergency department, and a helipad. The project contractor is CG Schmidt. The building, which will connect the existing hospital and clinic facilities, is designed to provide a flexible and operationally efficient facility with enhanced access to medical services. The project includes renovation and modernization of space within the existing hospital.
