VEKA Constructs Terrell Manufacturing Plant

TERRELL, TEXAS -

Germany-based VEKA Inc., a maker of vinyl frames for encasing residential windows and doors, will construct a 100,000-sf manufacturing plant in Terrell, Texas. Sited on 24.5 acres in the Metrocrest Business Park, the $6-million facility is expected to open in fall of 2005. VEKA is planning a three-phase expansion of the plant in the future which could enlarge the facility's footprint up to 500,000 sf.
