LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles City College has selected The Steinberg Group to design its new $13.7-million Martin Luther King Library. Slated for completion in 2005, the 64,000-gsf facility will house the existing Learning Skills Center, the All Campus Computer Lab, and learning disabilities and classroom study areas. The library will serve as the new gateway to the campus with plazas to the south and east. It will be constructed on the site currently accommodating the men’s gymnasium.
