University of Oklahoma Plans Cancer Institute

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. -

The University of Oklahoma will begin construction in late 2007 on the $120 million, 220,000-sf Cancer Institute at the Oklahoma Health Center (OHC) in Oklahoma City. The seven story cancer center is part of a master plan of expansion at OHC involving the addition of 4.75 million sf of space and capital projects totaling $1.48 billion. Also planned at OHC is the Hamm Oklahoma Diabetes Center, slated to begin construction in 2008.
