HAYWARD, CALIF. - Cell Genesys is building a $60-million clinical and commercial launch production facility in Hayward. Designed by Dowler-Gruman Architects, the 69,000-sf facility will be capable of handling multiple 500-liter bioreactor lines. Built by DPR Construction of Redwood City, the facility began construction in March of 2001 and is expected to reach completion in December of 2002.
