University at Buffalo Plans School of Engineering and Applied Sciences

BUFFALO, N.Y. -

The University at Buffalo, part of the State University of New York system, is planning to construct a 130,000-sf facility for the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Modernizing facilities and programs for the departments of Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering, the $73 million project will house a nanotechnology cleanroom, a communications technology lab, flexible research labs, interdisciplinary research areas, and classrooms. The facility will enable UB Engineering to expand program offerings to include biomedical engineering.
