MANHASSET, N.Y. - North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System is planning to construct a $40-million research laboratory in Manhasset, N.Y. Ground will be broken on the four-story, 55,658-sf facility in November 2005. Sited on the 57.8-acre North Shore University Hospital Campus, the new wing will increase the footprint and research capacity of the existing Boas-Marks Biomedical Research Pavilion. Completion is expected in two years.
