Boston University Medical Center To Build BSL-4 Laboratory at BioSquare

BOSTON -

Boston University Medical Center (BUMC) is working with contractors McCarthy and Turner Construction to construct a $178-million BSL-4 laboratory at the BioSquare development in Boston. Funded by a $128-million grant from NIAID, the project awaits final federal approval to break ground. The entire BUMC lab facility will be seven stories tall and 194,000 sf.
