SAN FRANCISCO - Genentech’s 385,000-sf, $145-million biotechnology facility—Genentech Hall— is under way at the University of California, San Francisco’s new Mission Bay campus. Executive architect for the project is the SmithGroup of San Francisco. Turner Construction is the construction manager for the building, which is more than 60 percent complete. A 1,200-sf atrium and a 2,500-sf cafeteria are some of the amenities in the new building.
