ST. LOUIS - Des Peres Hospital, part of Tenet St. Louis , initiated construction on a $3-million renovation of its west St. Louis County facility in early October 2004. Designed by architect ACI Boland to increase capacity and streamline operations, the two-floor renovation will add four dementia and thirteen private medical beds; eleven new surgical preparation and recovery beds; new waiting areas for surgery and radiology; and two ADA-accessible restrooms. General contractor McGrath & Associates is expected to complete construction in early 2005.
