BIRMINGHAM, ALA. - The Federal Bureau of Investigation has reached the halfway mark in the construction of its new $14-million office facility in Birmingham, Ala., on October 7, 2004. The three-story, 86,200-sf building is being constructed by Baston-Cook Co . of West Point, Ga. Baston-Cook is also the project contractor on a nearby $6.3-million facility for the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
