Baylor University has selected McCarthy to build a four-level, precast concrete structure to house parking, office, and shell space. The $13.3-million, 403,000-sf facility, which recently broke ground, is slated to contain 19,000 sf of office space and 9,000 sf of shell space for the University's Information Technology Services Department. Building systems will include computer room air conditioning units, an FM200 fire suppression system, an uninteruptable power supply system, and an emergency generator system. The 1,195-space parking garage will be designed to look like an office building through the use of exterior precast wall panels that support the parking decks and serve as backup for the masonry veneer system.

The architect and engineering firm for the project is Carl Walker of Dallas. The Capital Program Manager is ARAMARK Facility Services.
