March 2002--Zymark is proud to announce the addition of the new 44, 198 and 500 Series to its extensive line of laboratory automation technologies. The systems provide robot accessible, high-speed access for the incubation of assays in a controlled and stable environment. Each incubator is equipped to handle 96, 384, 1536 and deep-well plate formats.
The available sizes provide an option to tailor incubation capacity requirements to a specific assay need. Each system can be easily integrated with Mini-Staccato and Staccato? systems under Zymark?s CLARA? integration software. The units can be configured with both CO2 and humidity controls utilizing an advanced infrared based sensor technology for precise environmental control. Other available options include ultra high speed access, refrigeration, lid handling, landscape and portrait plate presentation and a variety of interchangeable shelving options providing compatibility with multiple labware types.
Each system comes standard with the High Temperature 70 °C option for expanded flexibility. The cabinet enclosure has been specifically designed to provide precise control over the internal environment as well as additional capacity. Its environmental conditions are controlled via CLARA? software to provide remote management of the units.
