MINNEAPOLIS--RapidZone? is a new commercial zoning system introduced by Honeywell to provide precise, customized comfort and energy efficiency of zoned climate control. It uses an intuitive software wizard to eliminate the time and expense of estimating, engineering, programming, and installing an automated zoned system. RapidZone provides individual room or zone control of temperatures and proper indoor air quality for up to 18 zones per roof top unit, with a maximum of ten staged roof top units. The system is compatible with all makes of forced air heating and cooling equipment and is applied to new or existing construction. All components use LonWorks(R) open system communications protocol for interoperability and low-cost system expansion.
