WESTBOROUGH, Mass.--EBA North America announces the availability of the Model 5146P High Volume Shredder. The 5146P is a cross-cut shredder, cutting in two directions to efficiently reduce documents to ⁵/₁₆" -- 1 ⁷/₈" particles. This shred size reduces refuse bulk by up to 45 percent over traditional straight-cut machines, providing for longer intervals between bag changes.

Paper can be fed into the 5146P by two separate feed openings. Flat stock and computer printouts are fed through an opening at the front of the unit. A second opening at the top of the unit is fed by a hopper which accepts an entire waste paper basket of crumpled paper.

The 5146P features a large 3 H.P. motor for ample shredding power, automatic start/stop, auto reverse to prevent paper jams and auto stop when bag is full.

An optional automatic oiling system lubricates the cutting mechanism for maximum performance and long life.

At 67" x 29" x 30" the 5146P requires minimal floor space.
