HotBox Brings Industrial-Sized Heat in Compact Package
Pittsburgh, Penn. (January 28, 2004)–Due to their often enormous proportions, industrial spaces can be difficult to heat. Electrical resistor specialist, Mosebach Manufacturing Company, introduces the HotBox, a powerful, portable industrial heater, capable of delivering up to 147,000 BTUs of heat.
The HotBox is ideal for heating storage, shop, and warehouse areas. The advanced electric heating element generates powerful heat, which is spread throughout a space quickly by a high velocity centrifugal blower. Made of rugged, fire-resistant plastic, the HotBox is 20 percent lighter and 40 percent smaller than conventional heavy-duty electric heaters and has none of the fumes, carbon monoxide risk, and refueling hassles of kerosene or propane fueled heaters. A retractable handle and rubber wheels allow for easy positioning where heat is needed most. The unit cools quickly and can be stacked for storage.
A three-position thermostat, with full off, fan only, and temperature range from 40º - 150º F, provides a range of temperature control options. The HotBox is currently available in 240-volt 1 and 3 phase configurations; and 480 or 600-volt 3 phase configurations.
