Ivara Acquires Western Distributor Datacore Systems Acquisition of Datacore provides Ivara with experienced professionals to provide local sales, implementation and support services to customers

Burlington, Ontario - August 9, 2000 - Ivara Corporation, a leading supplier of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions and Equipment Reliability consulting, announced today that it has acquired Datacore Systems, Ivara's business partner located in Alberta, Canada.

Datacore has been a business partner for Ivara since February 1999 providing sales, implementation and support services for the Ivara products in the Western region. Datacore has helped the maintenance departments of more than 200 companies during the past six years. They have gained a solid reputation over that time for their expertise in helping companies successfully implement technologies that will improve the efficiency of their maintenance department.
