This 100 nL dispensing technology has now been successfully implemented on Zymark's Sciclone Advanced Liquid Handler (ALH) providing the industries first robust, full automated 96, 384, and 1536 well 100nL pipetting solution. The 100 nL dispensing head provides a superior level of performance in terms of accuracy and precision while utilizing the Sciclone ALH's large open access deck, precision motion and wide range of application specific accessories.

The 100 nL dispensing head is based upon the same proven technology as the Sciclone ALH--using a reduced sized piston driven by high-resolution motors to provide accuracy in an ultra low volume range. The system has an operating range of 100 nanoliters to five microliters--delivering CVs of better than five percent.

The Zymark Sciclone ALH is a simple to use instrument that performs a host of functions that previously required several separate devices. It supplies 8-channel independent Z-axis probes (Z-8), "on-the-fly" interchangeable 96/384/1536 arrays, a compact 20 position deck, bulk dispensing capabilities and a unique design which offers effortless integration with other devices from all four sides of the system.
