(Madison, Wisconsin) ? Purdue University has selected Flad & Associates to design a new biosciences/engineering research building for its campus in West Lafayette, Indiana.
The new $15-million, 50,000-sf facility will support a variety of projects in the areas of genomics, bioinformatics and instrumentation development. Such instrumentation development pushes the limits of current measurement technology and is fundamental to realizing the promises of bioscience research.
Other project team members include Affiliated Engineers of Madison, Wis. (mechanical, electrical and piping engineering).
Planning is to begin in spring 2002 and completion is projected for 2004.
