The compact Fiberglass 30 Laboratory Hood by Labconco Corp. of Kansas City, Mo., is designed for industrial, educational, and clinical applications requiring small working space and efficient fume hood removal by limiting the volume of tempered air exhausted from the lab. Models are available with an integral blower or wired for connection to a remotely located blower. Explosion-proof models are available with an integral explosion-proof blower. All models have an interior liner made of molded, one-piece, chemical resistant fiberglass.

Other features include by-pass airflow design, durable dry powder, glacier white epoxy-coated steel exterior, a 3/16" thick tempered safety glass vertical-rising sash with epoxy-coated aluminum frame, and pivoting air foil to promote airflow. A right side fixture panel is factory-prepared to accept up to three service fixtures, one electrical duplex, and one airflow monitor (kits are sold separately for on-site installation).
