CSU Northridge Awards Public Safety Facility Storage System Contract
Northridge, Calif.--September 12, 2006--California State University, Northridge (CSUN) has awarded the storage solution contract for their new 28,000 square foot Public Safety Facility to McMurray Stern.
The six Spacesaver mechanical assist high-density systems and DSM duty lockers are scheduled for installation in November of 2006 on the 356-acre San Fernando Valley campus, which currently enrolls 33,000 students along with 4,000 faculty and staff members. The University chose the Spacesaver high-density storage systems to meet the requirement for secure and efficient storage of property, evidence, and citation records--while keeping within their strict budget.
"McMurray Stern has had a long relationship with the academic community, and we welcomed the opportunity to help CSUN design and install a storage system that was in alignment with the university's safety values." says Leslie McDonald, McMurray Stern director of marketing.
