TRANSWESTERN ADOPTS FRAMEWORK TECHNOLOGIES ACTIVEPROJECT ActiveProject to Provide Collaborative Platform for Transwestern's Trans-ePortal
Burlington, MA - August 21, 2000 - Framework Technologies Corporation today announced that Transwestern Commercial Services (TCS), one of the largest privately held commercial real estate firms in the U.S., has adopted its ActiveProject collaboration software as the platform for its new Trans-ePortal system. The Trans-ePortal is a new value-added service from Transwestern, providing project communication and collaboration with clients and team members.
The Trans-ePortal will provide secure, centralized access to all project-related information for Transwestern's clients and extended team members. Project participants can use a standard Web browser to find, review, discuss and collaborate on project-related information, expediting feedback and resolving issues faster. Trans-ePortal users can access and share hundreds of information items in the form of CAD drawings, documents, spreadsheets, project schedules, and images. Additionally, Transwestern will use the Trans-ePortal to support other applications, such as live Web camera video feeds and Primavera project schedules.
