Parker Drilling Company Selects Ivara's Suite of Maintenance and Reliability Solutions to Improve Service to Oil & Gas Customers
Burlington, Ontario - November 29, 2000 - Ivara Corporation, a leading supplier of Maintenance and Reliability solutions, announced today that Parker Drilling Company has selected Ivara's software to assist in asset management. Parker is a global provider of oil and gas drilling services and equipment.
Ivara will provide Parker Drilling with the Ivara.EAM and Ivara.EXP software offerings and consulting services. Ivara.EAM is an Enterprise Asset Management solution that improves the efficiency of maintenance processes such as work order planning and scheduling and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) inventory. Ivara.EXP collects equipment condition values, diagnoses the overall condition of the equipment and proactively identifies the needed maintenance.
Parker Drilling selected Ivara software because Ivara has experience in the drilling industry and offers flexibility to meet Parker's specific requirements. Ivara's multi-site capabilities will allow Parker Drilling to roll out a consistent maintenance strategy to their rigs located around the world. Use of the software will begin early 2001.
